THE BRAND
HOTEL POROS, a resort sportswear and swim label based in Sydney, was founded in 2020 by Fotis Tetikis and Tyson Tatana.
The brand's name pays homage to the idyllic Saronic Greek island of Poros, which the duo discovered on their summer travels in 2016.
Their experiences while island hoping in the Mediterranean inspired them to develop a collection of ‘off-duty’ pieces that combine sport and casual elegance. HOTEL POROS’ creative vision is reflected in the brands visual language, comprising of retro sport silhouettes, a bold colour palette and statement prints.
FOUNDERS
Fotis Tetikis’s professional trajectory in diverse roles within French and Italian luxury fashion, laid the foundation for his sense of branding, creativity and storytelling. Born in Australia, from Greek and Cypriot heritage, Fotis embodies the brand's multicultural and eclectic ethos.
Tyson Tatana’s varied career has encompassed several roles across French luxury fashion and Italian home & lifestyle with an in-depth understanding of the industry's intricacies and nuances. Tyson's diverse background working both in fashion and with artisans and craftsmen has played a significant role in shaping the brand's outlook.
The creative duo's experience working in European luxury, their shared love of travel and multicultural upbringing all play part in developing a unique and distinctive brand identity that speaks to a global audience.
